Your privacy is important.Should you make a purchase or donation, you will be asked to provide your name, contact information, including email, and credit card billing information. The Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra (ICO) is committed to protecting your privacy and offers the following measures to ensure it:
Security: All of your information is encrypted using SSL, an industry standard, secure technology. This encryption is designed to prevent the theft or interception of the information you provide. SSL encryption is indicated on your Web browser by the display of a lock or key on the browser status bar.
In addition to utilizing SSL encryption for all transactions, the ICO stores encrypted credit card numbers and passwords, as well as other donor information, on servers in a physically secure environment with strict policies that minimize staff access to the information contained therein. The Card Security Code is only used for credit card processing and is not stored on the ICO’s servers.
Information Use: The ICO does not sell, trade, rent, or share your information with any entity other than the vendor we have selected to process payment transactions, which also has its own privacy policy. We may use demographic data derived from aggregate donor information, such as the number of donors from a particular locale or number of donations above a certain giving level.
