For Patrons with Vision and/or Hearing Needs

The Schrott Center for the Arts has Braille signage. Trained service animals (not emotional support animals) assisting guests with disabilities are permitted. Service animals must remain on a leash or harness at all times and will rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability. All other animals are prohibited.

The Schrott Center for the Arts use the Phonic Ear Sound Enhancement System to amplify stage dialogue. Patrons may pick up their individual receiver at the information desk.

ICO programs are available in a digital format and can be zoomed 1000%.  Any other special seating accommodations can be made through the ICO Office 317-940-9607. 

All ICO performances are in accessible spaces with adequate ADA parking spaces, seating, and drop-off zones. ADA Parking is available in the east lot and the lower level of the Parking Garage. Patrons can be dropped off at the Southwest doors to Schrott. Entry points are stair-free. ICO will do all that is possible to meet any other seating or accessibile needs. This can be handled through the ICO Office 317-940-9607, please do not hesitate to ask. 

Butler Arts & Events Center event staff will be available to help patrons to their seating locations. Patrons requiring EMT assistance from their cars into the venue can call (317)940-9697 approximately-20 minutes before arriving at the venue.

  • For patrons who need more legroom, we recommend selecting the side sections of loge, aisle seats or ADA seating 
  • Chairs without arms can be placed in the mobility needs accessible seating section. If you select one of these seats online, the Ticket Office will send you a brief email to ascertain the best way to accommodate your needs.
