Brief info

Candice Kiser joined the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra as Second Clarinet in 2003. She holds the same chair in the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra (Virginia), and has performed with numerous ensembles such as the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, the Akron Symphony Orchestra, the Erie Philharmonic, the Louisiana Philharmonic, the Baton Rouge Symphony and the Evansville Philharmonic, among others. As a studio recording artist, Ms. Kiser has recorded diverse commercial, educational, and religious musical projects at studios in the Indianapolis area, including many projects for the Hal Leonard Corporation.

Candice serves on the faculty of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania where she teaches clarinet, music history, and coaches chamber music.

Candice holds the Bachelor of Music Degree in Clarinet Performance from East Carolina University, and the Master of Music from the prestigious Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. She also completed three years of post-graduate studies at Louisiana State University as a Board of Regents Fellow. Her principal teachers include Eli Eban, Nathan Williams, Steven Cohen, Alfred Prinz, and Richard Hawley.
