Encore Players – Community Event

ICO will host our first community orchestra event on Friday, January 30, 2026 for adult musicians of all ability levels to make music together at Schrott Center for the Arts under the direction of Maestro Matthew Kraemer. Registration is open NOW!

Here’s what you need to know:

The event will take place on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Schrott Center for the Arts.

Rehearsal will begin promptly at 5:30pm. Please arrive early if you can. Doors will open at 5:00pm. There will be a 30 minute break after rehearsal followed by a public performance at 8:00pm at Schrott Center for the Arts. The performance is free for guests to attend-invite friends and family!

The cost to participate is $65 and includes the event itself, a T-Shirt, snacks before the performance, and 2 complimentary tickets to ICO’s concert, Shore of the Sea, on 1/31/26. This fee helps the ICO cover the costs of hosting the event including the venue, professional musicians, music rental, etc. Participants must be 18 or older.

You’ll need to review the music selections below to determine if you feel comfortable participating. You can look up the pieces online to see the sheet music ahead of time or we will have previews available on our website by November 14th. You will receive a link to full scans of the music after you register. If you’re concerned about not being able to play all of the pieces, you’re still welcome to participate in the event and play the pieces you are comfortable with. There is no audition required for this event, but please be aware we only have one rehearsal. ICO musicians will be spread throughout the orchestra to assist and play with participants. We must have a minimum of 30 participants to be able to host this event. If we are not able to meet the minimum, you will be refunded.
