Andrea Kleesattel is a former member of the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra in Japan, the Madison Symphony Orchestra, and the Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra. She is also a former freelance player and guest principal with the Spectrum Symphony of New York, the London Symphonia (Canada), and the Magisterra Soloists (Canada).
As a fully registered Suzuki teacher and Director of New Horizons Bloomington–an orchestra for adults to learn to play a string instrument–Andrea believes that musical growth happens at any age. She loves movement arts and is a Dalcrozian, martial artist, and managing director of Windfall Dancers Inc.
Andrea is a native of Cincinnati, and after living and making music in Kentucky, Wisconsin, Japan, New York City, and Canada, has returned to her Midwestern roots.
