A Season Like Never Before

Reflecting on a year with more twists and turns than the world’s greatest roller-coaster, the ICO
is beyond grateful for everyone’s support, understanding, and innovation. It certainly would
have been easier to hit pause, stop performing, and resume when the climate improved.
However, the ICO believes in the incredible value of our mission and the impact of artistic
endeavors. This past year we have all experienced the healing power of music, and the ICO
has been proud to safely present.

“Absolutely beautiful, carried me away to peace!”- Maureen Penry-Pfitzer

This season the expansion to a virtual platform allowed the ICO to reach over 11,500
households with virtual presentations and nearly 10,000 households through the weekly ICO
radio broadcast on WFYI, in addition to the limited in-person audience this season. The ICO
is in preparation for a momentous 2021–2022 concert season announcement on July 1st
with an attentive return to traditional concert experiences at the Schrott Center for the Arts.
In the meantime, hear the ICO Live at Music on Meridian, tune-in to the monthly
Mocktails and Masterpieces, and experience a past ICO concert on YouTube.
