You’ll hear a premiere of an arrangement of West Side Story and experience a semi-staged opera.

The world’s premier pipa virtuoso and leading ambassador of Chinese music, Wu Man, travels to Indianapolis to perform Tan Dun’s concerto. A concert reflecting a global view of music, you’ll hear exotic sounds of Eastern Europe in the Armenian Rhapsody, the first use of percussion by Haydn in a symphony, and Debussy’s distinctly French style in a suite that features Clair de Lune.
